DIRTY JOURNALIST STRIPPED NAKED IN PUBLIC BY COLLEAGUES for avoiding Bath

JOURNALISTS in Matunda town Uasin Gishu County treated the locals to a drama after they wrestled down and stripped naked one of their colleagues they accused of giving the profession a bad name by avoiding bath.

The irate scribes had for weeks complained of the untidy colleague who has lived for years with only three shirts and two pairs of long trousers.

The journalists who were convinced that the colleague was not interested in buying new clothes despite getting handouts at the field bought mitumba clothes before luring him to a secluded corner of the town where they stripped him naked and made him wear his new clad.

Local touts and motorbikes operators joined the frenzy and confessed that the vernacular radio reporter hardly changes his clothes.

“I agree that my former look was so weather-beaten and embarrassing, but I did not have any money to buy myself some new clothes,” he blurted, adding that he respected the course of action taken by his colleagues since it displayed their concern.

The rejuvenated pressman later took off with a more confident gait after pledging to maintain a more refined look in future and spare a portion of his income to cater for his grooming.

However, the scribes vowed to give his social life another boost by introducing him to members of the opposite sex, as the reporter is said to be particularly frightened by young and good looking ladies.
