Three TJRC commissioners have revealed that a senior official in the Office of the President asked the commission to alter some sections of the land chapter in their report, so that it could be accepted by President Uhuru Kenyatta. International commissioners Getrude Chawatama, Berhanu Dinka, and US Professor Ronald Slye say that the office of the president demanded a copy of the report in advance, after which they exerted pressure for some sections of the land chapter to be doctored.
