Senator Mike Sonko Has Paid For The Tickets He Promised To Buy Ahead Of The Kenya-Nigeria Match

Senator Mike Sonko has lived up to his pledge of buying 1500 tickets for football fans to be able to go watch the second leg match between Kenya and Nigeria  for the World Cup Qualifiers. The match will take place on Wednesday 5th June 2013 at the Nyayo National Stadium.


According to reports, Sonko paid the ticket dues to the Football Kenyan Federation chairman Sam Nyamweya, who then gave it to the CAPS tickets representative.


Nyamweya expressed gratitude for the senator’s team support and was hopeful that it will have a positive impact on the Harambee Stars as they Clash With Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The tickets will be distributed as follows;

- 10 fans from each of the 85 wards

- 20 fans from each of the 17 constituencies in Nairobi

- The 10 extra will be distributed randomly.
