The papers, marked as spoilt votes, were found yesterday and
belong to various candidates for positions of Senator, Members of Parliament
and Women Representative.
While confirming the incident, Kayole police boss Samuel
Mukinda said they were called and informed about it before they moved there to
collect them. He added that a preliminary investigation showed that the papers
are genuine.
Mukinda concluded by saying that the police are working with
the IEBC officials to establish how the papers found their way to the roadside.
He urged those with any information regarding the matter to report to the police.
