IEBC's ISAAC HASSAN’s heart condition worsens; to be flown to Holland for specialized heart treatment

The heart condition of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman, Isaac Hassan has failed to improve after being admitted at Karen Hospital on Friday morning with complications.

Due to his delicate condition, the IEBC boss is expected to leave the country for Holland tonight for an urgent specialized heart treatment.

Hassan will be taken to Ridge Hospital in Holland, the same hospital where the late former Vice President, Wamalwa Kijana, was admitted with heart problems.

However, the media has been blocked from covering the ailing Hassan for fear of bloating the issue out of proportion, considering that the IEBC boss is still at the centre of investigation over the botched Match 4th elections Ever since, Hassan rigged the victory of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader, Raila Odinga, in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta, his life has never been the same again.

The same fate befell the late former Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) boss, Samuel Kivuitu, who after rigging Raila Odinga’s victory in favour of exPresident, Mwai Kibaki, in 2007 , which led to the post election violence that claimed over 1 , 300
people, his life changed for the worse that led to his eventual death as a result of throat cancer.
