Kasarani MP arrested for demanding bribe

Nairobi, Kenya: Kasarani Member of Parliament (MP) John Njoroge was Wednesday arrested for allegedly demanding Sh150,000 bribe from a businessman over CDF projects.

He was later questioned by the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission at Integrity Centre.
More to follow.

So many signs bearing the words ‘TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED’ are strewn all over the city of Bulawayo but some people do not seem to heed them before engaging in misdemeanor.
A 16-year-old boy from Bulawayo has learnt that not only these signs meant to deter criminals from entering private premises but also those who cannot keep their zips shut especially towards married women.
The boy (name withheld) and his alleged ‘girlfriend’, 36-year-old Margaret Msipa, had allegedly been playing bedroom games for some months. Msipa’s husband who is said to be a haulage truck driver was tipped about the illicit affair and it is said he took the news seriously and applied requisite measures to protect his ‘s**xual mine’.
The two lovebirds reportedly got stuck to each other on Saturday last week at the woman’s Nketa 9 suburb house in Bulawayo.
“You know when you are young you are vulnerable to a lot of things. People suspect that the woman used her money to lure him into the affair. He is too young to be thinking of such things. She took advantage of him.,” said the source.
Msipa is said to be a cross border trader. The two were caught after the woman phoned a neighbour telling her about the ‘African magnetic’ predicament. On receiving the distress call, the neighbour reportedly went to the house and found the two’s organs ‘under lock and key’. She is said to have made attempts to separate them but to no avail.
“They were trying to keep it a secret but such things cannot be kept secret for long. By Sunday most people had learnt about it,” added the source.
Allegations are that the two were separated the following day when Msipa’s husband, Enoch Msipa, returned from his trip. The man is alleged to have ‘unlocked a padlock’ and the two were mysteriously set loose. They were reportedly given a hiding and thereafter the woman was sent packing.
“She is staying in Nketa 7 with her mother. As for the boy, I hear he stays in Nketa 6,” said the source.
When contacted for comment, the man claimed it was not the first time that he had caught his wife cheating.
“I forgave her before and this was too much. She is sleeping with someone who could be her child. She has no respect for herself,” said Enoch.
The woman refused to entertain the news crew.
