It’s all in the name of strategy and Ringtone uses this to increase his wealth. First of all, the Singer has stepped in almost all secondary schools in kenya where he earns largely. This comes in the form of Cds and tshirts. 

His cds goes for ksh150 and a t-shirt goes for ksh 200. This is unlike some of our Kenyan artists who never use their head and sell their merchandise at an exaggerated price which common mwananchi can’t buy. Singer Ringtone can sell a cool ksh10,000 merchandise in one school and he visits a minimum of four schools per weekend. Then do the maths.

Not forgetting his songs are so off-key but so touchy such that people bless him with money after they are inspired by his story. A case in example is late last year when Ringtone met a white woman who gave him a cool $25,000 since he inspires her. 

It’s also evident that Ringtone made millions during last year elections since he was responsible for outsourcing artists to perform in Jubilee campaigns and he earned millions from that. The singer is also funded to help needy children in tunes of millions. 


So when you say that Ringtone is a Drug dealer, think twice since he is just using a strategy to get money unlike some of our Kenyan artists who never use their head.
