On Friday the freshers bash
was getting down at the MKU main campus in Thika,MOG,Willy Paul and
Sauti Soul were set to perform. Everybody was psyched up and looking
forward to every moment of the night
As the stage was catching fire with performances,in the background unknown to many trouble was brewing at the gate. One of Sauti Soul members,Chimano was brewing and spoiling for a fight,he had arrived late after the other members had arrived. The trouble was at the gates where the bouncers unaware of his identity went as normal to frisk all entrants and that's when he got pissed,how could these people fail to identify him,those must have been his thoughts. His ego was bruised and he pulled the famous line,"you should know people" but the bouncers couldn't get none of that and demanded to frisk him before entering and he was defiant.
The word reached the other Sauti Soul members who were originally inside and that's when all hell broke loose,a witness speaking to Nairobi Exposed paints the picture," ilianza na huyo boy wa sauti soul,the short he came late after the others since were saposed to grace the occassion n perform that nite at the event,at the gate the rich guy didnt use the right protocol of introducing himself to the bouncers at the gate instead he wanted to enter forcefully since he is a celebrity,but this didnt turn well after being asked by the bouncers who he is,he started pushing them telling them they should no the people n he become completely aggressive n untouchable which made it hard for the bouncers to swip under the carpet,so they became agressive too by teaching mr sunshine a litle lesson of his lyfe,kalitandikwa until the other members of the group came,the tall dude man he was so vulgar n violent,the hell broke loose wen the tall guy ingiliad the fight and the bouncers didnt find it anymo so the fight went to another level n that is wen the instigater of the fight lost his teeth am sua the poor the guy he is nursing his wounds,oh God they didnt even perfom n they wey guys anticipated their perfomance.."
Bien,the tall one in the group is said to have unleashed his tae kwondo skills and was unstoppable throwing kicks like a Bruce Lee protege,he was also vulgar in his language as we are told.
The efforts by the organizers to try calm the situation and convince them to perform didn't bare any fruits as Sauti Soul decided to drive away swearing never to step in MKU and this was to the disappointment of many who had their minds set and thirsty to see Sauti Soul grace the stage. They have been mum about the incidents reasons unknown,one thing for sure,tiger claws were out.
