The lodgings provided by the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) for African champions, Nigeria have been rejected by an advance party dispatched by the Nigeria Football federation (NFF).

The 680 hotel which was provided by the KFF is notorious for its outlandish nature and proximity to several unheralded lodgings.

The Nigeria advance party to Kenya has now settled for the classy La Mada Hotel in the serene atmosphere not far from match venue at Kasarani.

Executive committee member of the NFF, Barrister Chris Green said the Nigerian federation is “not surprised” as they “expected such antics from the Kenyans.”

“I really will not say we are surprised at this. We expected such antics but we have ensured that the players and technical staff of the Super Eagles get the best when they eventually arrive in Nairobi for this crucial encounter,” Green told supersport.com.

The Super Eagles will take on the Harambee Stars at the Moi International Sports Centre on Wednesday in a 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria currently lead Group F of African zone qualifying on five points from three matches.
