An Open Letter To Kimemia.

Dear Kimemia,

How are you strong man of Kenya? I presume a man in your position and wielding much power must always be fine in reply to my greetings. I don’t intend to settle any scores neither am I looking for your mouth words’ as you may claim. Spare a little of your precious time. I know you are a busy man.

Kimemia, do you possess any info that on Friday 31 May 2013 Ida Odinga was barred from accessing vip lounge at jkia? Pole Kimemia that is an insult to your personality. According to you, she is just an ordinary woman, wife to an enemy, very insignificant.

Probably you compare her to “mama sirkal saidia” from Nyando.

She therefore doesn’t deserve a shred of your attention and respect. May be mama Ngina or Lucy Obako makes sense to you.

I also know that as you read this letter, you wonder what this good for nothing idiot is upto. To you, I don’t make any sense. You could easily expose me to the firing squad for execution. But listen Kimemia, no amount of power you wield will ever execute the truth. It will always stand the test of time.

Ok let’s get to serious business. If you are under any medication, say for diabetes or hypertension, and then swallow your pills before you continue. I don’t want you to faint and collapse before the truth penetrates your skull.

Kimemia, the sound of your name makes me puke. Your name has become a bad omen to Kenyans like me. I think i have become allergic to it. Worse still, when I see your face. The mention of your name rekindles bad memories. I have come to despise people whose names start with letter ‘K’ most of whom have been your cohorts. If am wrong the look at this-Kimemia, Kibaki, Kivuitu, karangi, kenyatta, kiambu…..list is endless. Do you have anything in common?

Why do you frustrate my leader H.E RAILA ODINGA? Because he has refused to
recognise Kamwana’s presidency? Or because the international community embrace him more than Ouru? Or you are scared of his continued relevance?

You have turned Kenya into your bedroom, you dictate who comes in or out.
But hey, I think we are demanding impossibility from a thickhead like you. If you didn’t know, you are creating a fertile ground for his star to shine even brighter. The more you misuse your power the more he is thriving politically.

You need to know that we won’t relent in backing him. He is the president of 5.5m voters. Charlatants like you should style up.

You are not the first one. We survived Moi, Kenyatta, Kibaki, Mutunga, Kivuitu, Isaac Hassan and people even survive cancer. So who is Kimemia anyway? Just a passing wind!
On your vetting day for the job you currently hold, i pittied those innocent souls who wasted their precious time interviewing you instead of doing something important.

You looked at them with bloodshot eyes. You wondered what the devil were those rascals upto. You responded to their questions with I don’t care attitude, like a rogue teenager.

You even thought they were insane to think of vetting a powerful man like you. You were ordained to have the job. There was no need to even think of vetting you.

As I end my long letter, I ask you to know people. Not only your tribe, try crossing your tribal border.

Learn to respect others if you want to be respected. Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely. I know cheats like you think you will stay in power fovever, I direct you to revise notes on Hitler, Iddi Amin, Ghadaffi et al.

Time is up. Allow me sign off this letter. I am getting to work to build
Kenya. By working and paying taxes which are ultimately swindled (anti Corruptions commission’s testimony) by you and your acquaintances so that you can ‘work’ for us.

Thank you.
Regards,
Hon. Jim Bonnie
