Caroline Mutoko Stealthly Asks Safaricom Chief Bob Collymore To Hire Her Because She Is Attending A short Course In Harvard

Radio journalist Caroline Mutoko last Friday travelled to Harvard University for a small leadership programme. Okay, when she comes back, she will be bragging to everybody how she is an Harvard alumni. And while there, she  has stealthily asked Safaricom chief to hire her.
She has been updating her Facebook page like a teenager girl who has experienced her first blood cycle.
“Landed in Boston on Friday at mid-day and first off I’d like to send a big shout out to KQ and their sky alliance partner Delta, for making the journey amazingly bearable. Hey, even my luggage arrived. I checked through to Boston from JKIA and my bag followed me.
Asante sana KQ
I also need to say a big thank you to the Consular section at the US Embassy for putting up with me. You’ve got to admire the way they sit back and make you go through the process but gladly keep pointing out where you go wrong and make you do it right. Eishhh. We’re not doing this again. Huku si rudi.
Anyhoo, I’ve had a chance to sleep, walk around alittle and even meet afew great people. The weather is amazing and I have to be honest that I’m as fired up for the next few days in school as I am nervous.
It’s 10:41am here and I’m-due at mass at 11am. Church is a 5min walk from here.
Miss you madly – look after yourself. Kisses.”
And on Sunday, she gave us this update, apparently licking the boots of Safaricom chief Bob Collymore, who is rumoured to be under pressure to hire her as the Corporate Communication officer.
“Back from church and looks like quite a number of Kenyans on this end have found me. Let’s see who’s up to buying lunch It’s Sunday, lunch is late. That said I must confess that Safaricom is too, too cool. Yap, I’m roaming on my usual line – AT&T found me in record time. Do you know I just paid for a few items in Nairobi through Mpesa? I thought it would be complicated. Wacha tuu. I dialed *722# for my bank, nika vuta pesa, and I send/paid na nikamaliza – kwisha. Boss! Niko na Safaricom even in Boston.

Let me go and find something to eat & get back here to catch up on assignments before class kesho.
Good night Kenya! Boston – thank you for the warm welcome!”
Yes, she went to Boston without even making good her threat to sue bloggers who accused her of being in Mutula Kilonzo’s house of the fateful night when the senator died.
