Uhuru's Cabinet Secretary Nominees to be Sworn in on Today


President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday night sent the names of the cabinet nominees for gazetting after parliament approved all 16.

Head of Public Service and Secretary to the Cabinet Francis Kimemia forwarded the names to the printers on Tuesday ahead of the nominees and Mr Kimemia taking the oath of office.

The names will appear in a special gazette notice on today.

The nominees will be sworn in today morning at State House, Nairobi in a ceremony to be officiated by Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Shollei.

The ceremony is expected to start at 11 am after which the cabinet secretaries are to begin their duties immediately.
