Angry Luhya Leaders Now Tell Uhuru to forget their vote in 2017 because of ....

Angry leaders of the Luhya community have condemned president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for not considering them in their cabinet.

The team led by Vihiga Senator George khaniri, the group was reacting to the last two cabinet nominees proposed by Uhuruto on Saturday.

The leaders looked at the nomination as an early sign that the president and the deputy were neglecting the Luhya community.

‘’As a community, we feel very alienated by this government and I can assure you that there are political consequences in 2017 as we strategise to topple Uhuru’s government,’’ said the senator.

There were speculations within the community that the remaining two nomination slots were to be given to Musalia Mudavadi and Eugene Wamalwa, however their thoughts were thwarted when that wasn’t the case.

The senator pointed out that there must be inclusiveness in the jubilee government.

The senator reiterated that for them Luhya community to support the jubilee however, Uhuru and Ruto should consider the communities in remaining posts such as principal secretaries and foreign envoys
