Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula have been in South Africa since last week.
They missed the swearing in of Uhuru at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani.
Raila had contested Uhuru’s election at the Supreme Court.
While Uhuru was being sworn in, pictures of the three leaders emerged showing them, in a relaxed state visiting a South African national park.
By the time they come back, deputy president William Ruto would have assumed office at the Shell and BP House which has been the Office of the former Prime Minister.
Sources at Cord said Raila is expected in the country today after “an enjoyable holiday” in South Africa.
