Kiss Fm's morning show radio presenter Caroline Mutoko has taken shots at girls who depend on men or expect their men to foot their bills.
In a Facebook status, Mutoko called out on single ladies to not solicit help from men in the name of comparing themselves to married women as the two are different.
Her post read:
Ladies - it breaks my heart to hear young guys say that it's simply too hard to be with us. Then we complain there are no men. Well they're hiding.
Should a guy strive to impress you - YES- without a doubt. Infact, guys are naturally inclined to want to do stuff for girls. It's in their nature. If he really likes you, he will offer consistently.
However, should you be demanding outrageous things like rent, shopping, clothes, school fees, elec bills to be footed by a guy you've known for a week, 2 weeks, 2 months. A guy who's also starting out in life just like you? Hell no!
And please do not compare yourself to a married woman, she can make demands on her husband. Wife is a role, an undertaking, not a title.
What I really want to know is, where did you get the impression that a guy should be paying for your lifestyle.
Surely neither your mum or your dad brought you up that way. When did everything boil down to a commercial transaction?
What's going on?
