You can be PUBLICLY JUBILATED, but SILENTLY CORDED—Kalenjin Elders TURN AROUND...UHURU is not SINCERE...

NEWS JUST IN FROM THE RIFT

Divisions ontinue to emerge in the kalenjin council of elders with claims that uhuru is not being sincere.

1. Uhuru's assertion that his family obtained land in Coast and Rift Valley on the basis of Willing Buyer Willing Seller sparked a tirade of disagreement in the Council. Most Wazee who were present at the time quickly disgreed. Their lands were taken and no money was paid.

2. The revelation by ICC that Uhuru is bribing witnesses is another source of division. Some elders are citing this as a case of betrayal because Uhuru did not do the same for Ruto and Sang. It is true that Muthaura is almost off the hook, Uhuru's case significantly weak. On the other hand, Arap Sang is left in desperation and Ruto clearly headed for full trial. Clearly, Ruto-Sang cases are even stronger, while Uhuru-Muthaura cases are much weaker.

And so the Elders are urging people to remain peaceful and embrace the Bradley Effect. "You don't have to shout it. You can be Publicly Jubilated, but Silently Corded," said one of the Kalenjin elder who pleaded for anonymity..
