News just in indicates that Luo Council of
Elders and Luo professionals have congratulated President–elect Uhuru Kenyatta
for winning the last Monday’s poll.
In a statement read by

gathered at a Nairobi hotel, said they have confidence that Uhuru Kenyatta will
deliver the country from dogmas of corruption and tribalism which have ruined
the country for the past 50 years.
Tuju said Kenyans have spoken
and any leader (referring to Raila), who is challenging the outcome, must be a
leader who is obsessed with leadership which Kenyans have denied him chance.

in a free and fair poll. In any election there must be a winner and a loser,
Kenyans have decided to move forward,” Tuju said.
He also thanked the Independent Electoral and
Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for conducting a free and fair election, thanking
the officials for the job well done.
Among those who attended the
meeting is former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s adviser Miguna Miguna.
