BIG BLOW for CORD as KOSGEI is BEATEN by Little Known URP Candidate...

Henry Kosgei has retired out of active politics following a sad defeat by a little known URP candidate Stephen Sang in Nandi County senatorial race.

 

Kosgei who is also the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman, accepted defeat after he was floored by URP candidate Stephen Sang in Nandi County senatorial race.

Kosgei,  accepted the defeat on Tuesday morning and told his supporters to be ready to work with his rivals.

Kosgei, who is Prime Minister Raila Odinga closest ally, was beaten by 31-year old Sang who won with a landslide.

Kosgei’s son won the Emgwen parliamentary seat on Jubilee ticket.
